If you think that athletes and fitness influencers don’t suffer from a lack of motivation in their workouts from time to time, you are sorely mistaken. Recently, Gracyanne Barbosa commented on her Instagram that she even has her days of frustration.
The topic started when a follower asked me how I managed to get so motivated to train. So the celebrity was honest. “Guys, I don’t have all that motivation, no. There are a lot of days where I don’t have motivation. I’m like, ‘Oh man, what? I go and I don’t get results’ or ‘I’m not getting the results I want.'”
How to stay motivated in training
As Gracyanne herself has already admitted, everyone has already felt (or will feel) some frustration when it comes to going to the gym. This is completely normal, and the key is to try to be consistent.
“We will not be motivated every day. What depends on us, what we will get every day is discipline and focus in addition to a goal. Not only to train, but to buy a house, open a business, travel, buy something. Go back. If you dedicate yourself, study. Work on what you are going to achieve. And be flexible”, explained the influencer on social networks.
In addition, other tips are essential so that you can focus on physical activity, especially at the beginning of the year (when many people decide to prioritize exercise):
Sleep Well
The cycle of sleepless nights is very harmful to the body since it makes it difficult to gain muscle mass, lose weight, as well as affect mood. This problem can also cause severe fatigue, which leads to a lack of training.
Take it easy once in a while
It won’t be an intense workout every day and you’ll be able to do your best, and that’s okay.
The advice here is to adopt strategies that can make your workouts less strenuous and more stressful and more comfortable. And do not worry that doing so will not affect your physical condition.
Don’t limit yourself too much to stay motivated in training
Finally, any type of deprivation, be it food, physical activity patterns, behavior, or otherwise, can cause further frustration, loss of concentration, and motivation. So don’t deprive yourself of any of these things. Do what you want with balance and without exaggeration.
